Welcome to Juneau, Alaska, and to Outdoor Headquarters. Family owned since 1981, we are a sporting goods store and pawn shop combination. We try to maintain a mix of affordable and practical equipment along with state-of-the-art where it will enhance either or both enjoyment or safety in the outdoors.
Some of the lines that we especially recommend are Pentax scopes and binoculars, Slumberjack sleeping bags and pads, and Backpacker's Pantry camp food.
We are proud to offer a line of crab and shrimp pots made right here in Juneau. The folks who make these also use them, as do we at Outdoor Headquarters, and these pots are proven to work.
We ship primarily by US Postal Service Priority mail. We can use UPS or FEDEX, but don't usually recommend them because of the extra cost charged to Alaska. In addition, we will deliver orders to the carrier of your choice at Juneau International Airport.
