A light, 4.5 pound backpacking shelter that is tough enough to withstand just about anything Mother Nature can throw at you. The three tough aluminum shock-corded poles give the strength to stand up to wind and snow. We've personally used this bivy in the Canadian Yukon, and can vouch for it's resistance to no-see-ums and mosquitos.
Air circulation is assured by an air scoop at the foot of the bivy, and the pole sleeves are mesh to ensure full circulation. Entry can be made from either side through large zipped panels, and the Raptor comes with a small gear loft, a gear pocket and flashlight clip.
Featuring bathtub floor construction, the 1500 mm coated floor and fly add to the strength of the unit, and the fly is attached with quick-release buckles. Guy lines and stakes are included.
The floor measures 91" by 36" and has a center height of 32". The pack size is 6" by 17".
