• Keep your bag clean and dry. (See "The care and cleaning of your Slumberjack bag")
• Store it by hanging it in a closet or stuffing it loosly in a Slumberjack cotton storage bag. (See "The care and cleaning of your Slumberjack bag")
• Use a Slumberjack insulated ground pad between your bag and the ground.
• Sleep with dry clothes on.
• In extreme weather, prevent heat loss by pulling the bag's hood around your head, wearing a stocking cap, and tightening the bag around your shoulders.
• Sleep out of the wind in a tent or bivy sack.
• When sleeping in weather that's too warm for your bag, unzip the bag from the bottom to release some of the warm air.

The care and cleaning of your Slumberjack bag
Down bags should be hand-washed in mild soap such as WooliteŽ, or dry-cleaned by a professional familiar with down products.

Do not dry-clean sleeping bags that are made with synthetic insulations. Synthetic-filled bags should be hand-washed in warm water with mild soap or detergent. Rinse them thoroughly in warm water and air dry.

If your Slumberjack bag is machine washable, use only commercial, heavy-duty front-loading tumble-type washing machines set on "gentle" cycle. To avoid damage to both your washing machine and your sleeing bag, do not use agitator-type or plunge-type machines. Wash the bag in warm water with mild soap or detergent with the bag zipped closed. Then hang it over a line to dry, or use a commercial dryer set on "air only."

Other general care tips:

• Before your bag is stuffed or stored, allow as much time for it to air out as possible
• When not in use, a Slumberjack sleeping bag should not be rolled tightly or stored in its stuff sack. Instead, store the bag on a shelf, hang it from the loop at the foot of the bag, or store it in a Slumberjack cotton storage bag

WARRANTY
Slumberjack sleeping bags carry a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. For self-inflating mats and chairs; sleeping bags insulated with down, Polarguard HV, Dupont's Micro-Loft, 3M's LiteLoft, DuPont's Quallofil* or HollofilŽII, the warranty is a lifetime warranty issued to the original consumer/purchaser. For bags insulated with DuPont HollofilŽ808 AND Fortrel Ecospun, the warranty is one year from date of purchase.

If you experience a manuacturer's defect in materials and workmanship within six months of date of purchase (sales receipt with date of purchase required), you may return the sleeping bag to the retailer where it was purchased and exchange it for the identical Slumberjack product. After six months, or if you don't have a dated sales receipt, call Slumberjack at 1-800-233-6283 for a return authorization, then send the item prepaid to Slumberjack. If after inspection, we determine the product to be defective, we will repair or replace it free of charge. If the repair required is outside the scope of this warranty, you will be notified of the cost of said repair, and your approval will be obtained before repairs are made.
